Among Us Pilot

The year is 2465. You are a male human space explorer, tasked with completing a space journey from your Headquarters (Mira HQ) to Polus, a planet named after a man who won a sweepstakes for the naming rights of the planet. You are delivering some important supplies essential for the people surviving there. (I would recommend getting a map of The Skeld from Among Us. This will greatly help the experience.) [[Name]]

You enter the spaceship from the Mira HQ launchpad, and your good friend (text-colour:navy)[''Blue''] is waiting onboard, putting on his iconic yet obvious blue suit. (text-colour:navy)["Hey, you ready to hop onboard the ship? Let's hope nothing goes wrong like last time..."] You remember what happened in the last ship flight. "Right... That asteroid crash certainly didn't help our company brand... Or the lives of everyone else..." You reply. (text-colour:navy)["Best to not remember it, but we should go meet the rest of the crew now." ''Blue''] says. [[Go meet the crew]]

After putting on your white suit, you go to meet the crew in the Cockpit. On your way, you see a tall feminine figure approach you, wearing a white hat that says in big, bold letters: ''CAPTAIN'' (text-colour:#008000)["Hey, I'm ''Green'', the captain of the ship, nice to meet you!"] (text-colour:navy)["I'm ''Blue'', and this is (text-colour:white)[''$name''(text-colour:navy)[."]]] You nod in response to this, and continue to the cockpit with (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] and (text-color:navy)[''Blue''] [[Go to the Cockpit]]

You arrive at the Cockpit with (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] and (text-colour:navy)[''Blue'']. You go to the Cockpit, and take a seat in one of the chairs. (text-colour:#008000)["Welcome all to the Skeld! I'm ''Green'', and I am the captain of this ship. To start off, I'd like you all to group up into 3's and introduce yourselves with eachother. Seeing as there's 9 of us, I'll go with (text-colour:yellow)[''Yellow''] and (text-colour:red)[''Red''].] You look around for people to pair up with, and spot someone coloured purple. "Let's go pair up with that person (text-colour:navy)[''Blue'']." [[Go over to the purple figure]]

You approach the man in purple. He appears to be around 40, and doesn't look very happy to be here. (text-colour:purple)["What do you want?"] he says rudely. "We were wondering if you wanted to be in our three." You say, gesturing to yourself and (text-colour:navy)[''Blue'']. (text-colour:purple)["I suppose I could join you. I'm ''Purple''." ''Purple''] says grumpily. (text-colour:navy)["You okay? Ya seem a little off." ''Blue''] asks. (text-colour:purple)["I didn't ask to be here, didn't want to be here after what happened with the crash..."] He mumbles. You notice there's something else other than that on his mind. The three of you continue to converse, but you get an off feeling about (text-colour:purple)[''Purple'']. He really doesn't seem the happiest right now though. [[Ask him about it]] [[Leave him alone]]

You start to ask him about what happened, but are cut off by ''Green''. (text-colour:#008000)["Alright everyone, let's play a game. I'll hand everyone a card, and if you get the ace of spades, you are the Mafia. If you don't know how to play Mafia, there is one 'mafia' in our group, who's goal is to 'kill' the innocents. The innocents must vote to 'execute' the Mafia, and if they are correct, they win. If they are incorrect, they will continue play as normal until either the Mafia gets voted, or until there are only two people left, in which case the Mafia wins if they are still alive. I'll hand out the cards now, so take a seat over here and I will give you a card." ''Green''] gestures towards a ring of chairs, all facing eachother. You take a seat and wait for your turn to get a card. After (text-colour:yellow)[''Yellow''] and (text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] each take a card, it's your turn to get a card. (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] gives you a card. (text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] is watching you as you take the card. You look at it, and it is not the ace of spades, meaning you are not the Mafia. [[Mafia Game]]

You decide not to ask, and (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] begins to speak. (text-colour:#008000)["Alright everyone, let's play a game. You begin to play the Mafia game, but completely zone out while playing. Before you know it, the game is over, and the Civilians have caught the Mafia. (text-colour:#008000)[Alright, it's time to go now, so strap in, and get ready for launch. I'll be in navigation and I ask that you all sit down in Admin while we launch. I'll have (text-colour:#4e240d)[''Brown''] over here in the Cockpit with me.] The rest of the crew and yourself all go to Admin, where you sit down, strap in, and take off. The takeoff was smooth, with some conversation between yourself and (text-colour:navy)[''Blue'']. After the takeoff is complete, a voice comes over the loudspeaker. It's (text-colour:#008000)[''Green'']. (text-colour:#008000)["Hey everyone, we've taken off now, so it's time to get some sleep to prep for tomorrow. Good night!"] (text-colour:navy)["I guess it's time to get some sleep. I talked to (text-colour:#064706)[''Green''] and she said the beds were in the Medical area.] "Where's that? I haven't been around the ship very much." (text-colour:navy)["I have a map if you want. (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] gave two to me to give one to you."] [[Take the map]] [[Refuse the map]]

Medical is over here, so I guess it's time to go if you're ready?" ''Blue''] points to a spot on the map, north-west of Admin. "Yeah, I'm ready." The two of you head over to Medical, where you see a set of beds. You find a bed and sit down on it, and people slowly filter through. After a bit of time, everyone is there but (text-colour:#008000)[''Green'']. You go to sleep, and have a dream of people arguing, and (text-colour:purple)[''Purple''] getting thrown out of the ship. You don't know what this means. [[Day 1]]

(text-colour:navy)["Medical is over here, so I guess it's time to go if you're ready?" ''Blue''] points to a spot on the map, north-west of Admin. "Yeah, I'm ready." The two of you head over to Medical, where you see a set of beds. You find a bed and sit down on it, and people slowly filter through. After a bit of time, everyone is there but (text-colour:#008000)[''Green'']. You go to sleep, and have a dream of people arguing, and (text-colour:purple)[''Purple''] getting thrown out of the ship. You go to navigation, where you see (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] steering the ship. "Hey (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''], thought I'd come up and say hi. Whatchya doing?" (text-colour:#008000)["Just steering the ship. I was about to ask (text-colour:red)[Red] to get some food for later seeing as I'm flying, but since you're here, would you like me to teach you how to fly the ship?"] [[Say Yes]] [[Say No]]

"No thanks, I don't think I'm ready to learn how to fly." (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] looks a little upset, but nods anyway. (text-colour:#008000)["Could you get me some food then? I'd appreciate it."] [[Get Food]] [[Don't Get Food]]

(set:$pop to $pop+1) (set:$green_status to 1) "Sure! I'd love for you to teach me!" You say. You and (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] then spend the next two hours flying the ship. 2 hours later... (text-colour:#008000)["Hey, I'm going to go to the cafeteria and get some food for us. Could I trust you to fly the ship until then?"] "Sure! I could do it I think." You reply. (text-colour:#008000)["Okay, I'll go get some food for us. Just be careful while flying, okay?" ''Green''] gives you a warm smile, and you nod. (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] leaves, and you have the ship to yourself. While flying, you notice a panel that says "Reactor Settings." You know you should keep flying though, but there's something about it... [[Check the Settings]] [[Keep Flying]]

After a couple minutes, (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] returns with some food for the two of you. As you fly, you begin to talk. (text-colour:#008000)["So why'd you choose to board The Skeld? It's not like the pay is that high that it's worth taking the risk."] "My Dad's an executive here, and he put me in since I was struggling to get a good job. Combine that with apartment fees, and this felt like the best option, given the free housing and especially since I have (text-colour:navy)[''Blue''] here with me. We've known each other since we were kids. What about you?" (text-colour:#008000)["I've been a Pilot for 5 years and I decided to join the space-flight industry because the pay for a Pilot was significantly higher in space than on most worlds. My parents originally thought that a woman couldn't fly a plane well, let alone a spaceship, so they dropped all contact with me when I got the job. I've been here ever since. It's okay though, I love this job and wouldn't miss it for the world." ''Green''] looks genuinely happy talking about her job. You continue to talk. After a while, it's safe enough to put the ship on autopilot, and the two of you go to the cafeteria. [[Go to the Cafeteria|Breakfast Day 1]]

Is there anything I can do to help?"] She asks. "Not really, thanks for asking though. Why'd you join the crew?" (text-colour:magenta)["I've been looking for the right person, so I've been planet hopping here and there. I joined this job to help me find that person." ''Pink''] looks at you fondly. (text-colour:magenta)["What about you?"] "I joined because my Dad's an executive here, and apartments are expensive, so I joined the crew. (text-colour:navy)[''Blue'']'s also here, so I have a friend too." You gesture towards (text-colour:navy)[''Blue'']. (text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] seems like they're paying a lot of attention to what you're saying. The two of you continue to talk, and you talk about life on The Skeld, how things are going, and your hobbies. Pink has a lot of similar hobbies to you, it seems. I'll have to check the maintenence on the ship then if it's being faulty. I'll start flying again." ''Green''] says. You simply don't know how to use it, and it wouldn't be safe. You can still fly, but I'll be with you when you fly." ''Green''] looks upset. (text-colour:#008000)[It's time for breakfast anyways, and whilst I wasn't able to get the food because... Well... The reactor. You should head over there and get some food."] You go to the Cafeteria, and as you walk there you feel a couple stares burning away at you. [[Go to the Cafeteria|Breakfast Day 1]]

You look around and after a few minutes, (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] enters the Cafeteria. (if:$pink_status is 1)[(text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] waves you over to her seat, and you go and join her. The two of you talk for a while, and eventually you finish your food. A couple people get up to leave, but (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] stops them. (text-colour:#008000)["If I could have your attention everyone?"] At first only a couple people glance over at (text-colour:#008000)[''Green'']. She looks a little annoyed and speaks louder. (text-colour:#008000)["If I could have your attention please everyone!" Green] asks, louder this time. Everyone looks over at (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''], and she begins to speak. (text-colour:#008000)["Since we're now properly on our way to Polus, I'm going to give everyone a tablet. This tablet will let you view the map, and trace your current location. It will also give you a set of tasks to complete to keep the ship running and stable. Once all tasks are completed the ship will be able to activate hyperspace travel, instantly warping us to Polus. The faster we do our tasks, the faster we can get there. You can also communicate long-distance with other crewmates via the messaging system, but only for a short time during the trip, as we have a limited amounts of messages we can send, so only use it when it's important."] She gives everyone a tablet, and you look at your tasks. You have 6 tasts - Fueling the Engines, analyzing a medical sample, fixing some wires in Electrical, Redirecting power in Electrical, downloading data in Communications, and clearing out the leaf waste in the O2 oxygen chamber. (text-colour:#008000)["I was flying the ship with ''$name'', and we already got food earlier. I would've told you, but you were asleep." ''Green''] explains. (text-colour:red)["Ah, okay, that makes sense." ''Red''] looks a little off, but shakes his head and goes back to chatting with the three of you. Soon, (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] stands up, and begins to talk. (text-colour:#008000)["Could I please have all of your attentions?"] She announces. Only a couple heads turn, and she's about to ask again, but you cut her off. "Everyone! (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] is trying to speak!" You speak loudly and with confidence. Everyone turns their heads to face the two of you. (text-colour:#008000)["Thank you] ''$name''(text-colour:#008000)[."] (text-colour:#008000)["Since we're now properly on our way to Polus, I'm going to give everyone a tablet. This tablet will let you view the map, and trace your current location. It will also give you a set of tasks to complete to keep the ship running and stable. People continue to filter in, passing by, and everyone who passes by gives you the look of a stranger. They are annoyed, and a little confused. One person sits down with you though. It's (text-colour:purple)[''Purple'']. (text-colour:purple)["What happened?"] He asks. He looks at you patiently, waiting for a response. "I accidently nearly killed us all, cause I was being a stupid idiot and shut down the reactor." You respond, bitterness in your voice. He doesn't respond, and the two of you sit there for a few minutes, just eating your food. After a few minutes, he speaks. (text-colour:purple)["You know, it's not necessarily your fault, right? You accidently did something because you were curious, and weren't aware of the consequences. Sure, you shouldn't have messed around with the settings in the first place, but I think most of us would've done the same thing, I don't think it's fair to be mad at you." ''Purple''] says. "It's nice to know there's someone on my side." You say. The two of you continue talking, until (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] begins to speak. (text-colour:#008000)["If I could have your attention everyone?"] At first only a couple people glance over at (text-colour:#008000)[''Green'']. She looks a little annoyed and speaks louder. "No thank you, I was going to go with (text-colour:navy)[''Blue''], thank you though." (text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] looks dissapointed, but nods. By now though, (text-colour:navy)[''Blue''] has already gone, and you cannot find him at all. You spend the next couple hours looking, but just can't find him... It's lunchtime now. 12:30 [[Go to the Cafeteria|Lunch Day 1]]

You and (text-colour:navy)[''Blue''] go to the medical area. The blue beds with the white walls really do give off a hospital feel. You go to the back corner of the room, where you notice a scanner, and a group of test tubes. //Why didn't I notice those before?// You think to yourself. You go to the test tubes, which is where your sample inspection task is. Only four of the 5 tubes are filled, and if you try to start it, it declines, saying that you need more data. (text-colour:navy)["Do you think that my scan might change that?" ''Blue''] asks. "It's worth a shot." You say. (text-colour:navy)[''Blue'']'s scan takes around 10 minutes, and you wait for the results. Some blood is extracted around 8 minutes in, and is cycled over to the sample inspection. Before you try starting the sample inspection, a notification pops up on (text-colour:navy)[''Blue'']'s tablet. A couple hours pass, and you return back to the Medical room, where the sample is ready to inspect. You check it, but there is nothing out of the ordinary. You tap the confirm button to confirm the results. Suddenly, a notification pops up on your tablet. (text-colour:blue)[(text-style:"smear")[Task Complete!] It's around 12:30 now, time for lunch. You begin to panic. You hear footsteps running down the halls, people shouting about fixing something, systems shutting down. After a few minutes...]] (text-style:"buoy")[The blaring stops. You go with (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] to O2. It's a grey room, just like the rest of the ship, with a trash chute and a vent cover with some leaves in them. You can't open the vent cover without damaging it, so you have to reach into the vent from a hole underneath it. (text-colour:#008000)["Alright, let's get this done." ''Green''] quickly reaches for the hole to begin cleaning the leaf litter, but stops. (text-colour:#008000)["You don't know how to do this] $name(text-colour:#008000)[, do you? I'll show you how."] You shake your head. Despite being on these ships many times before, you haven't done this yet. (text-colour:#008000)["Alright, It's easiest done with two people, so you're lucky I'm here."] She gives you a playful wink. (text-colour:#008000)["It's pretty hard to see where your hand when it's in the vent, so if I put my hand in there, you'd have to direct me from above, seeing as you can see where everything is, but I can't."] Makes sense. The two of you begin to filter the leaves out. (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] pulls out a small plastic bag to put all the leaves into. She sticks her hand into the hole, and after a bit, gets into the main area where all the leaves are. There are three leaves, one in the top left corner, one in the top right corner, and one near her hand, but in the bottom half. You instruct (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] to move her hand down, and she grabs the first leaf with ease. You then instruct her that the second leaf is in the top left corner, and she grabs that one easily too. There's only one leaf left, and you //couuuld// lie to her, or you could tell the truth. The storage room has a lot of crates, with a small trash chute in the corner. (text-colour:purple)[''Purple''] goes to the trash chute, and tries to throw out the trash, but nothing exits the ship. (text-colour:purple)["Huh, weird."] He remarks. You look at your tablet one more time, and your task is to fuel the engines. You notice a fuel barrel with a small fill-up tank next to it. (text-colour:purple)[''Purple''] is busy fixing the wires, so you decide to go and fill up the tank with fuel. You notice that your tablet is now directing you to another room on the west wing of The Skeld, called Upper Engine. "Hey (text-colour:purple)[''Purple''], I'm just going to go fill up the engines, I'll be back in a few minutes." You grab the fuel can, and start going to the Upper Engine room. On the way you pass by the Electrical room, the Lower Engine room, and the Reactor room. You go through a crossroads where the Reactor is, and are at Upper Engine. You quickly go to the front-left corner, grab your fuel can, and pour the fuel into the engine. You move back to the reactor crossroad, and see a new room, titled "Security." //I've never seen that before. What's the new room for?// You decide you'll investigate it later. You return to Storage, where (text-colour:purple)[''Purple''] is still working on the wires. You fuel the tank back up, and take it to Lower Engine this time, and fuel it up as well. Suddenly, you get a notification on your tablet. (text-colour:blue)[(text-style:"smear")[Task Complete!]] You wait for (text-colour:purple)[''Purple''] to complete his wires task, and once he's finished it, the two of you go to the wire set in Admin. "Sure! I'd love to go with you!" You say. Her face blushes a little, but she quickly hides it, and the two of you go to Electrical. You think nothing of the blushing face. As you walk over, you pass through the storage area, where you see (text-colour:Purple)[''Purple''] doing some wire tasks. You continue on your way, and arrive at Electrical. The place is less grey than the hallways you just came from, with many wires sprouting from one wall, only to go into another. (text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] makes her way to the back right corner, and you make your way to the wires. You finish both your tasks in Electrical, however, the task doesn't finish. Instead it says you have two new task locations, as the power needs to be redirected to shields, and the new wires that need to be fixed are the ones in... //Security? We've never had one of those before...// Your task take around an hour and a half whilst talking to (text-colour:)[''Pink''], but she's is still struggling to finish her task. "What's wrong? Do you need help?" You ask. (text-colour:magenta)["Yeah, it's really difficult to do this with the timing, it's really precise timing to tap the buttons, and after that you have a limited time to input a command into the server console. I haven't figured out how to do it yet."] She says, looking rather frustrated. "Here, let me have a go." You say. She steps over to the side, and you take a look. There are three buttons, with a few rings around a couple numbers. it appears you have to press the button when the ring is aligned with the button. You give it a go, but struggle with the timing as well. Over the next 10 minutes, you continue to try and get it done, but the one time you did, you couldn't type in the command quick enough before everything reset. "This is actually quite difficult. Why don't we work together on it? You work on timing the rings, and I'll type in the command." (text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] agrees, and the two of you get to work. At first you're just messing around with her, but after a while you decide to actually try doing the task. After what feels like an hour of attempts, (text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] gets the timing correctly, and you type in the command with only a few milliseconds to spare. "Oh my god that took way to long." You gasp. (text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] agrees, and you sit down with her in electrical. "Tell me about yourself. You haven't really told me much about you yet." You say. (text-colour:magenta)[''Pink''] looks panicked, but after a bit, begins to talk. She begins to choke up as she talks. (text-colour:magenta)["As a kid, I was always the one who everyone had a crush on for my looks, and not my actual personality or anything like that. Everyone constantly was using me, and casting me aside when I wasn't needed. The people I dated were never nice to me at all, and even as I've gotten older nothing has changed. People are constantly being ridiculous to me, treating me like crap, and never actually caring for me, and only caring for my looks. I've gotten sick of it, but I've never stopped looking for that one person, just in case I can find someoen who's actually nice to me. Recently it's felt like everyone's taken advantage of me, except for you, ''$name'', it feels like you've genuinely cared for me more than anyone else in the world, even if we've only just met. You go to Communications, a very techy room with a tv, radio headset, and lots of electronics. You notice your task is a download task, with a little wifi symbol. You go to the task, and connect your Tablet to it. The files begin to download, and it takes around 3 hours. One of them will patrol, whilst the other watches the cameras. We will cycle through different people during the voyage. That's all there is to say right now, and if anything new happens I'll let you all know during dinner." You put the leaves in the bag, then grab the trash chute, put it in there, and pull it. A notification pops up on your tablet. (text-colour:#008000)[''Green''] gets one from hers too.
